"I suppose I'm one of those who have slowly grown in my faith over quite a few years. But what really made me start to believe in and trust God and turn to Jesus, was probably when I was hospitalized several years ago, was very worried, and visited the hospital church as they had a Sunday service. After the service I spoke to the pastor, and she prayed for me and later came to see me more than once at the ward where I was admitted. That gave me hope, calmness and an awareness that no matter what, God is always with me and has a plan for me.

This was strengthened as I began to read my Bible more after I came home and go to my home church when I felt strong enough. God has since taken me through difficult times more than once, and each crisis has served the purpose of strengthening me and sort of waking me up."
