About ARIA * The Manga * The Anime * The PS2 Game * Characters * Aqua * People   Characters　キャラクター   The main characters in both the manga and anime are undoubtedly the six undines (Akari, Alicia, Aika, Akira, Alice and Athena) and the shachou or presidents of the three companies they work for, who are all blue-eyed cats. The story in particular revolves around Akari's daily life and discoveries on Aqua, and thus with her sempai Alicia and Aria-shachou is the character most commonly seen in an episode or chapter of ARIA.   Other returning characters are other residents and workers living in Neo-Venezia and Aqua, such as Akatsuki and Al. Aside from these, many 'single episode' characters have cameos in a single chapter or episode and are rarely, if at all, seen again.
