The Anime アニメ
In June 2005, MAG
Garden (the publishers of ARIA) announced that the series would be adapted into
an anime. The first episode of the anime, entitled ARIA the ANIMATION, aired on
5th October 2005. This was followed almost immediately by a second series, ARIA
the NATURAL, which finished its run on Japanese television on 24th September
2006. A further OVA (Original Video Animation), entitled ARIA the OVA ~ARIETTA~,
is planned for Japanese DVD release in September 2007.
